This barn renovation was featured on the cover of the Builder's Journal Magazine.  The barn was sitting on cobblestones without a foundation for nearly 100 years.  We lifted the barn and installed a full foundation and interior concrete slab.  We added a one story addition onto the East side to create a 1200 sq.ft. apartment with exposed original barn beams. The main part of the barn consists of parking for five vehicles inside.  The barn was starting to lean to the north so to stabilize it we attached a structurally engineered lean-to which gave us a way to brace the barn from further movement.  The siding and roof are all maintenance free materials.
